Iron Skillet Apple Pie

For my friend Char who wanted my Iron Skillet Apple Pie recipe! So good and so easy!
1 stick butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup granulated white sugar
2 pie crusts, ready made
2 tsp. cinnamon
4-6 sliced Granny Smith apples
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place stick of butter in large iron skillet. Place in oven and let it melt. Then stir in one cup brown sugar and let it melt thoroughly in the butter. Place first pie crust on top of this mixture in skillet. Mix cinnamon and white sugar together. Place sliced apples on top of crust and sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon mixture. Place second pie crust on top of apple mixture, sealing the edges, and make small slits in top of crust for vents. Bake 45 minutes or until lightly browned. Serve warm and top with ice cream if desired!

This sounds amazing! And I am not really into pie making but this is just a perfect recipe.
