5/30 Days of Gratitude

The Harvest
5 {30}
I am grateful for the harvest. We harvest lots of different things in our lives. We harvest love and gratitude, riches and morals; as well as fruits and vegetables. Our harvest is great and plentiful and I am thankful for that. I have a home, clothes, warmth, family, friends, jobs, freedom, and faith. I have a bountiful harvest of prosperity with no complaints…...
A cornucopia of abundance from the fruits of our labors. I am blessed.

We owe the farmers in our country a debt load of gratitude for their harvests…..where would we be without them? These farmers are harvesting peanuts…..a grand nut in the south! I love them boiled, parched, toasted and roasted….plain or covered, in something or alone…but peanut butter…
now you just can’t beat that!

Reaping my harvest:..."for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap."
 Galatians 6:7 King James Version

Grateful for the Harvest

Cora, that picture is just beautiful! Oh how I loved reading your post and one of the things I miss the most about the South is the boiled peanuts! Every time we travel home we make it a point to get our bellies full of peanuts!
Your thoughts on harvesting- so true and just beautiful!

Beautiful picture. It reminds me of home; I grew up on a farm.

Thank you for the reminder that the harvest is not just about crops, but our lives as well. We really don't have to look very hard to see the blessings that surround us.
