3/30 Days of Gratitude

In The Quiet
3 {30}
I am thankful for quiet times. Quietness calms the soul; it sets the mind in motion and lets our muscles relax. It allows us to think again and ponder who we are, where we are and what we are doing. With too much hustle and bustle in this chaotic world
we need our times of solitude and quiet.

My quiet place would be like this porch with a swing or a bench. A place of seclusion, where I can talk to myself….*in silence of course* because I need to listen to my thoughts and take them for what they are worth. After all....I am my own best listener!
In the quietness you can also enjoy the little things....
the things that go unnoticed throughout our busy lives.
Nature is at it's finest when we are the quiet ones.
It unfolds it's beauty, soft sounds, and wonderful smells....
we just have to stop, be quiet, and pay attention.
Find you a quiet place….a place which makes you happy and content
where you can be yourself and reflect!

Grateful for Quietness

This is so very true. We all need quiet times. I used to think that I didn't have time for that with three kids, all their activities, church, working part-time, etc... We SO need time to reflect. It helps to prepare us for what lies ahead. Instead of turning on the radio when I'm in the car alone, I relish that time to think. Thank you for sharing your thoughts on solitude!

Cora it is a beautiful place, I have a bench in my back yard, under an archway, warmest place in the yard. lots of times i go sit there and just be. Sometimes I have a dog on each side and we all fall asleep in the sun. I love the photo. Take care, have a great day.
